A pair of lightweight and compact halogen lamps that can be be used in confined studio spaces to create 600 Watts of tungsten light, without the bulk of conventional redhead lamps.
Each lamp is both mains and battery operable, powering up to 300 Watts from an AC power outlet, and up to 100 Watts from a 12V DC power pack (not supplied). This means the lamps can be used as main studio lights, portable illumination, camera lights, fill-in, kickers or backlights in both static set-ups and on the move.
Designed for light to moderate use, these lamps measure just 140mm long by 80mm wide, weighing in at just 400g and can be operated in confined conditions where large lamps and extensive heat could be a problem.
Manufactured from a heat resistant polymer, the lamp housing can remain switched on continuously at full 300 Watt output for 2 hours and 100 Watts DC for indefinite periods of time.
A full range of interchangeable bulbs in varying wattages are also available for these lamps adding yet more flexibility to controlling the output of the lamp without the need for dimmers:-

The lamps are 5A fused and fitted with a 9 foot power cable and on/off rocker switches at the rear of the lamp housing.
A removable glass screen protects the bulb from particles and moisture, and 2 adjustable barn doors flag the light output as well as hold scrim and lighting gel.
The lamps are hotshoe mountable only, and will attach to any standard hotshoe plate on video and still cameras. By attaching them to the lighting stand adaptors supplied you can attach the lights onto the head of a lighting stand (not exceeding 15mm in diameter) and locked with the retaining bolt.
The adaptor is fully adjustable 180º on it's left and right axis, with a click lock action which ensures the device cannot accidentally drop forward when being adjusted or set.
The lights will operate on 110 - 240V AC by plugging the trailing plug either directly into a two pin mains outlet (USA and Euro) or into the 3 pin Adaptor plug (UK).
Two 240VAC or 110VAC 300W bulbs are supplied. UK residents will automatically receive the 240V version. European and American buyers will receive the 110V version. Should you require a different AC bulb, please notify us when placing your order.
One 100 Watt and one 50 Watt DC bulb are also supplied, designed to operate on 12VDC. Just plug the the 2 pin plug into the special 4 pin XLR convertor and you can power the lamp directly from any one of our battery belts, PAG belts or any 12V DC source fitted with a 4 pin XLR.

Supplied with the lights are two 2.2 Meter lighting stands, manufactured from a tough lightweight metal alloy and offering rock solid support with their dual bar hinged center supports.
The top spigot is standard 15mm and is also fitted with a 1/4 screw for threaded lights or attachments.
Folded down, these legs compact to 71cm and weigh only 1Kg making them both transportable and lightweight, without compromising on sturdiness.
The central columns are adjusted via two locking levers, and each stand is finished in a durable and attractive black satin.
Each stand is supplied in it's own zip up vinyl storage bag with adjustable shoulder strap.
